This is a unique , vintage, handmade book / journal/ sketchbook , bound with the coptic stitch, a bookbinding method, developed by early Christians in Egypt, the Copts, and used from as early as the 2nd century AD until the 11th century. The book 's back is left uncovered, in order to permit the book to open completely flat.

The covers are dressed with pyrographic man made leather, very soft and luxurious. It can also be personalized or accept your art, using a pyrographer. The closure is a combination of matal, bone and wood, over a raised surface. It is bound with waxed Irish linen thread in black. It features 60 unlined pages (counting both sides) of supreme 300gsm watercolor paper, that can withstand huge amounts of water and very hard treatment, even unprimed! All the pages have their edges distressed. Its size is 17,5 x 25,5cm ( 7 x 10 2/8 inches).
