I have made these A5 journal covers, with the modern journaler in mind. I have used an new eco friendly material Kraft-Tex, which has a leather-like finish and texture, but is made from natural paper fibre. It is very strong and durable like leather, but can be treated as a paper. It is a great substrate for paint: acrylics, watercolours, dyes or inks, will work perfectly on it. You can draw or collage on it, but also sew or embroider it. It can be wiped clean, it is water resistant and it makes the ideal cover for your journals.
It comes with two elastic bands to keep 2 notebooks in place, has two pockets, and an elastic closure. It comes with 2 notebooks: one plain with 190 gsm Vellum Bristol paper and one with Rhodia pen friendly graph paper.

Kraft-tex is supple, yet strong enough to use for projects that get tough wear. This cruelty-free leather brings exciting new texture and color, has a suede-like finish and lovely crinkles. It is hand-dyed, pre-washed, preshrunk, eco-friendly, color-fast, tear-resistant, and so much more.
