This Spellbook is inspired by the famous Wizarding School and its young wizards and witches. It is meant to be a spellbook, a grimoire, a magical companion for the fantasy lover. It is a unique diary for people who love the Magical World and wished our own world and life had a little bit of magic!
The artwork on the covers gives the impression of a very old book that is almost ruined after being left in a damp place for centuries. The focal point is a complex structure of a Celtic sun design, encompassing a raised circle, who protects a metal powerful symbol encased in resin. The finish has been made with several layers of ecological varnishes, to protect the artwork and ensure the vitality of colors for many years to come.
The spine is a very soft man made leather, treated with patinas to achieve a worn look.
It is bound using strong 3-ply Crawford's Irish linen thread.
This journal has 182 pages (counting both sides). I have used a high quality very smooth Bristol paper of 240 gsm, in a very beautiful creamy tone, alternated with digital prints and black cardstock. The edges of the pages are painstakingly torned by hand, one by one, to add to the "magical" feeling of the journal. They are also distressed with eco inks.
All papers are acid free, chlorine free and suitable for photos.
Its size is 16 x 21cm ( 6.30" x 8.26" )
It is a perfect gift for journalers, LARP players, witches, magic and fantasy lovers, artists, writers and people who love books. It can be used as a sketchbook, an art journal, a notebook, a spellbook , a diary, a heirloom book or for every occasion a special book is needed.
