    𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

It is a great gift for a teacher, an artist, a writer, a traveler, or anyone who loves a book with character. It can be used as an art journal, a diary, a notebook, a scrapbook or a writing journal.

This book is part of my "Bindings of the World" series. It is an exposed-spine designer book, bound with a combination of French link stitch on tapes and the Coptic binding - a bookbinding method, developed by early Christians in Egypt, the Copts, used from as early as the 2nd century AD to the 11th century. The book 's back is left uncovered, in order to permit the book to open 360 degrees.

The covers are made of 2,5 mm strong book board dressed with designer paper which have been treated with specialised products, in order to protect them from time (yellowing, fading etc) and hazards (liquid spills, dirty hands etc). The focal point is a vintage typewriter embossed in black over the cover.

It is bound with 100% linen special bookbinding thread. Every binding hole is reinforced with a metal eyelet for extra strength and stability.

The book has 56 pages (counting both sides) of 240 gsm Dali cardstock. Named after Salvador Dali, a world-renowned artist, Dali paper has the ability to produce fine creative works much like its famous namesake. Few creative papers can give you the same great luxurious feel as this high-quality felt-marked paper, enhancing your unusual designs with its classic texture. And of course it is chlorine free.
