Bristol paper originates from the early days of European papermaking when mills would send their finest papers to Bristol, England to be pasted together. Bristol Smooth paper is great for pen & ink, fountain pen, gel pens, mechanical pencil, airbrush, and markers. There is little to no tooth, making these surfaces great for creating fine lines, detail drawings, or marker drawings.

📌 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠
The journal is bound using the coptic stitch-a bookbinding method, developed by early Christians in Egypt, the Copts, and used from as early as the 2nd century AD to the 11th century. The spine is left uncovered, in order to permit it to open even 360 degrees. Of course it opens flat, and it will be the joy of any pen artist, art journaler, mixed media artist or painter.

Its size is perfect to be constantly carried in a bag, and big enough to accommodate your vision.

⚠️ This listing concerns only the journal. Other objects seen at the photo props are not included.
