The covers are made of 2,5 mm strong book board dressed with designer paper, treated with specialised products to prevent yellowing, fading etc over time. The front cover is decorated with a silver fairy charm, recycled ribbon and designer thread.

The book is bound using the coptic stitch-a bookbinding method, developed by early Christians in Egypt, the Copts, and used from as early as the 2nd century AD to the 11th century. The book 's spine is left uncovered, in order to permit it to open 360 degrees and of course opens flat.

It is bound with 100% linen special bookbinding thread in lavender. All the binding holes are reinforced with metal eyelets in a light purple.

All materials are acid free and suitable for photos.
