It is a perfect gift for a traveller, a sea lover, an adventurer. It can be used as a memoir, a diary, a photo album, or a special heirloom journal where you will tell the story of your life for the generations to come. It is a unique and special book.
𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
The artwork on the covers gives the impression of a very old book that is almost ruined after travelling the Seven Seas for centuries. The focal point is Pirate Medallion. The finish has been made with several layers of ecological varnishes, to protect the artwork and ensure the vitality of the colors for many years to come. For the pages, I have used a high quality parchment paper with a slight texture in a beautiful vintage cream. The spine is a textured black man made leather.
🔥 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫:
This journal was made with hand made rough cotton rag watercolor paper from India. Inspired by textile patterns, Indian Cotton Rag Papers make a luxurious feeling paper using 100% recycled materials.
They are made by hand according to the old Indian tradition, using refined cotton from rags, clothing, and textiles. This is a 100% cotton paper made in the village of Tarihal near Hubli, in Karnataka, South India. This paper has longer fibers than linters that are generally used in papermaking and is known for its exceptional strength and durability. It is amazing with any media: from watercolor to inks and acrylic... and anything in between!
It is cold pressed, giving it a rough texture ideal for flowing watercolor paintings. Cotton rag paper is the perfect example of tree-free, upcycled and recycled paper. The paper is 100% sustainable.
🌱 The paper is dyed with natural dyes and dried in the sun. Any color irregularities are normal and add to the feeling of this amazing paper!
♻ Save trees. Choose tree-free paper
