These pocket smooth Bristol sketchbooks, can be used as stand alone journal booklets, as travelers notebooks, as writing notebooks or as an insert refill for regular Midori type Journals and planners.

They have 28 pages each of 300gsm Smooth Extra White Bristol paper. This paper is great for Pen & ink, gel pens, fountain pen, mechanical pencil, airbrush, markers etc. It is hand stitched by me, using Irish waxed linen thread, for extra stability and character.

Bristol paper originates from the early days of European papermaking when mills would send their finest papers to Bristol, England to be pasted together. Bristol Smooth paper is great for pen & ink, fountain pen, gel pens, mechanical pencil, airbrush, and markers. There is little to no tooth, making these surfaces great for creating fine lines, detail drawings, or marker drawings.
