These pocket Fabriano Mixed Media paper sketchbooks, can be used as stand alone journal booklets, as travelers notebooks, as writing notebooks or as an insert refill for regular Midori type Journals and planners.

They have 48 pages each -counting both sides- of 190 gsm (90lb) Fabriano Mixed Media paper. When I started to use wet media in my journals, I was disappointed by many watercolor pads. The paper was not strong, it could not absorb water adequately, sometimes the paint would lose its vibrancy when dry and so on so forth. The good watercolor papers were really expensive and I was afraid to experiment and "waste" them. I researched the market, for many years, until I found the perfect paper. It is strong, accepts watercolors and other wet media perfectly and it is really good for all my mixed media experiments both wet and dry. The last few years, it is the only paper I use.

📜 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫

It is made by Fabriano, an Italian paper manufacturer who produces quality paper since 1264. It is a strong cold pressed watercolor paper. It is designed specifically for wet media such as watercolor, gouache, acrylics and ink. It has neutral PH and it is also acid free and chlorine free.
